Ribbon Cutting on the New $62M Resort-Style Sonata Senior Living Community

WPC along with Sonata Senior Living and capital partner, Berkshire Residential Investments, held an event to commemorate the grand opening of Sonata’s newest senior living community (located at 410 Caring Drive, Lake Mary, FL 32746).  Sonata Lake Mary is a 250,000 square foot, $62 million, resort-style community offering upscale amenities never seen before in a Lake Mary senior living rental-based model.  Located on a seven-acre site within the 153-acre, $750 million Lake Mary Wellness and Technology Park mixed-use development – the community features a mix of 193 assisted living, independent living, and memory care apartments.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony held on March 21st featured a tour of the community’s state-of-the-art amenities built with the discerning older person in mind. In addition to the large apartments and beautifully appointed dining and social spaces, attendees were able to experience active living, including the zero-entry resort-style pool and bistro, the professional-grade golf simulation room, the dog park, and the brand-new pickle-ball court. It also incorporates the latest in technology and healthcare advancements. Residents will appreciate touchless technology, advanced air filtration systems for enhanced safety, and a hearing loop system in the onsite theatre.
